Frideborg Tarot Guidance 22 November

“She is so bright and glorious that you cannot look at her face or her garments for the splendor with which she shines. For she is terrible with the terror of the avenging lightning, and gentle with the goodness of the bright sun; and both her terror and her gentleness are incomprehensible to humans…. But she is with everyone and in everyone, and so beautiful is her secret that no person can know the sweetness with which she sustains people, and spares them in inscrutable mercy.”
― Hildegard of Bingen

I was listening to Hildegard von Bingen’s music and thinking of the divine feminine as I pulled the two cards for today… Can you tell? 🙂

The Queen of Wands, in her best and brightest aspect, makes for a perfect indwelling of the Goddess who is full of the ‘goodness of the bright sun.’

To be fully embodied as God-Man and Goddess-Woman, we have to own and integrate the fullness of masculine and feminine energy which, I might add, is not gender-dependent. Here we have the Fire of Judgement and the Aries Queen of Wands to demonstrate that those of us who wish for the full indwelling of Her (whether male or female) need to balance our energy with Fire.

So it is no coincidence that I pulled two Fire cards for today while contemplating the divine feminine. I will take today’s lesson with me into my Temperance (personal Tarot year card numerology) year next year, as soul alchemy (the theme of the Temperance card) is very much about integrating/embodying the fullness of the divine masculine and the divine feminine.

The numerology of these two cards is also not a coincidence. 20 (Judgement) and 13 (Queens) adds up to 33 – the number of Christ Consciousness.

About 11 years ago, I attended a holistic fair where we were offered a guided meditation to meet with our Spirit Guide. Hildegard of Bingen appeared to me. Visions sometimes need time before they can manifest… I am ready to learn from her as I prepare to walk the Path of Temperance in 2017. I especially like her as a guide because she urges us to learn trust in ourselves:

“We cannot live in a world that is interpreted for us by others. An interpreted world is not a hope. Part of the terror is to take back our own listening. To use our own voice. To see our own light.”
― Hildegard of Bingen

Hildegard was a true visionary because her work stands the test of time. Her Sisters guarded her work for 800 years and now the world is just about ready to embrace her teachings. She was a doctor of holistic medicine as well as a mystic and prophet.

“Dare to declare who you are. It is not far from the shores of silence to the boundaries of speech. The path is not long, but the way is deep. You must not only walk there, you must be prepared to leap.”
― Hildegard of Bingen

I need the at times stern, but mostly gentle, voice of this guide by my side for the year ahead. I wish to fully embrace the optimistic, visionary and expansive energies of the Temperance card… and prepare to leap into my most divinely inspired self! Who will be your guide in 2017?

Blessed be!
